The region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes launched its own mutual that she wants “accessible to all” and “without income conditions”, nor age limit. No questionnaire to fill out, either, or waiting period.
“Approximately 300,000 people” in the territory “do not benefit from complementary health insurance because the costs are often too high,” argues Fabrice Pannekoucke, the new president of the communityspecifying that this service was developed with five mutual insurance companies in the region.
An offer from 20 euros per month for students
Three levels of coverage, “on average 20% cheaper”, will be offered to residents who would like to take out it. A special offer for students is offered from 20 euros per month.
In detail, this regional mutual offers “participation in covering excess fees” as well as “significant coverage” of non-100% health care such as the purchase of audio devices, refractive surgery, lenses, dental implants or orthodontic costs.
