“We must congratulate Mr. Marinakis, who, in an event on the subject of disinformation, dared to invoke the crime of Tempe, in order to present himself as a defender of the truth,” comments SYRIZA in a statement. He adds in the same spirit that “if nothing else, for the spokesperson of the government of the bastard to invoke the truth at an event about disinformation, is the epitome of oxymoron”:
“In any case”, SYRIZA continues, “the stance of the New Democracy government does not surprise us”, as “it is clear that the recent thunderous message of society for justice regarding the crime of Tempe, has brought them to a very predicament”.
“That’s why they are capable of anything, even invoking the… truth,” says SYRIZA. “They did the same, after all, when they mocked the international reports that ranked the country 108 and 107 in terms of press freedom. Or when Grigoris Dimitriadis sent lawsuits to the Media that were dealing with the smelly wiretapping case,” he adds.
“Finally, then, if Mr. Marinakis wants to talk about disinformation, he can make use of his government’s rich archive,” SYRIZA concludes.
