Provence Rugby brings down Brive and temporarily takes the lead

Trailing 17-3 at the break, the Aixois managed to overthrow the Brivistes at the end of the match (23-20).

Provence Rugby, led 17-3 at half-time by Brive, won 23-20 with two tries scored at the end of the match, Thursday in Aix-en-Provence, at the opening of the 7th day of Pro D2. Loïc James (74th) and Léo Drouet (80th) responded to the first two Brivet attempts, a penalty (13th) then Erwan Dridi (18th).

Provence-Rugby (1st) and Brive (2nd) occupy the top of the ranking with 20 points, two points ahead of Montauban (3rd), Colomiers (4th) and Biarritz (5th). Montauban plays Friday at Valence-Romans (16th and last), Colomiers receives Soyaux-Angoulême (8th) and Biarritz welcomes Agen (9th) the same day.
