/ world today news/ The Cabinet “Borisov 2” repeats the matrix from the previous administration of GERB. The difference is in the new debt.
The government increases impoverishment, emigration, socio-economic problems. The BSP should speak more loudly on these issues, as well as on people’s expectations for a better life. This was stated by the chairman of the BSP, Mihail Mikov, during a seminar with the participation of the party’s representatives in the local government.
The leader of the Socialists also paid particular attention to the strengthening of regional disparities. “The Bulgarian countryside will increasingly sink in terms of access to education and healthcare. The only way out for active people with qualifications will be to work abroad, which will have a negative impact on Bulgaria’s gross domestic product,” predicts Mikov.
The chairman of the BSP recalled that on average in the country 50% of children going to school are from poor families, and in regions such as Kardzhali, Smolyan, Haskovo, Vidin – this level exceeds 75%. He emphasized that there is currently no sense of this problem in government policy.
“As a party, we need to start speaking louder, louder about these issues. We must try to bring these issues back into people’s minds,” said the BSP chairman. According to him, BSP is not excluded, but should lead the conversation about people’s expectations for a better life.
Mihail Mikov states that the “Borisov 2” cabinet repeats the matrix from the previous administration of GERB, the difference this time being in the provision of new external debt to temporarily quell the situation.
“Mayors and municipal councilors will feel this stagnation at the central level, including the message that Borissov gave – to overcome the deficits at the local level through a new burden on poor families,” warned the leader of the socialists.
