Looking at the foods he eats every day to be healthy, the nutrition expert explains in his publication eating eggs for breakfast daily. “These little nutritional wonders are a real asset for staying healthy!”enthuses Jérémy Menet. The nutritionist then reveals that, contrary to what many people think, they do not increase bad cholesterol but rather help fight it.
“Long accused of being bad for cholesterol, they have finally been pardoned by nutrition experts. The myth about cholesterol is stubborn, but be aware that eggs do not raise blood cholesterol in most people. In fact Instead, they help regulate cholesterol levels in your body by increasing good cholesterol (HDL)!”he explains. However, we know that bad cholesterol is very dangerous for your health. Finally, according to the specialist, eggs are an important source of vitamin D, a “vitamin essential for bone health and the proper functioning of the immune system”. Perfect for organisms that are regularly deficient during the winter. To truly benefit from the nutritional benefits of eggs, however, it is preferable to choose those “from free-range hens, French or even organic” after Jérémy Menet. They generally contain more nutrients and are therefore better for your health.
