MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Fans have already begun lining up at Hard Rock Stadium to purchase Taylor Swift merchandise ahead of her highly anticipated concerts this weekend.
Local 10 News reporter Annaliese Garcia was at the stadium Thursday, where some fans have been waiting since Wednesday to get their hands on exclusive items like sweatshirts, tote bags and t-shirts. The team has been busy transforming the stadium into a fantasy world for the concert, which begins on Friday night.
It will be a big weekend for Swifties in South Florida, as the pop icon hasn’t performed here since 2018, during her “Reputation” tour.
The excitement is palpable as fans prepare for Swift’s latest tour, “Eras,” which has taken the world by storm.
Businesses like Miami’s Night Owl Cookies have also gotten in on Swiftmania, creating themed sweets inspired by some of Swift’s most popular albums, including “Reputation,” “Midnights” and “Lover.”
“We created cookies representing my favorite albums of hers, and they sold out in less than an hour last time,” said a representative for Night Owl Cookies.
In Brickell, rooftop bar Rosa Sky is hosting a Taylor Swift tribute party, with specialty cocktails like the “Feeling 22” and “Lavender Haze.” The venue has been redecorated with disco balls and Swift-themed decor for the occasion.
With three back-to-back concerts starting Friday, Taylor Swift fans in South Florida are in for a memorable weekend as she kicks off the final leg of her international “Eras” tour.
