Question from Ms. MARTIN Pauline (Loiret – Les Républicains) published on 10/17/2024
Ms. Pauline Martin wishes to draw the attention of the Minister of Health and Access to Care to the lack of publication of implementing decrees concerning the symptoms of long-term covid.
Indeed, the implementing decrees of law no. 2022-53 of January 24, 2022, aimed at creating a referencing and care platform for chronic covid-19 patients, have never been published .
It had raised great hopes among people suffering from long forms of covid-19, by providing concrete measures to facilitate their medical monitoring and access to care. At the time of the adoption of this law, Public Health France estimated that two million people who had been infected with covid-19 presented symptoms of long-term covid.
Without publication of these decrees, people with long-term covid continue to suffer the persistent effects of the disease without benefiting from the legal framework provided, which complicates their access to care and the recognition of their condition by administrations.
Ms. Pauline Martin therefore asks what measures the Government intends to take to accelerate the publication of the essential implementing decrees, in order to guarantee the care of the patients concerned as quickly as possible.
