We want people to know what is happening in parliament, and that is why all discussions and negotiations take place in front of the cameras. Professor Andrey Chorbanov, head of ITN lists in Veliko Tarnovo and Pazardzhik, said this in the “Face to Face” show on bTV.
“There are things that are hidden not only from the public, but also from the deputies themselves. Leaders have not entered our parliamentary room to secretly discuss agreements or cliques,” he clarified and gave as an example the situations where the parliamentary session is interrupted for half an hour. Then, according to him, some contracts are made, because after the resumption of the meeting, a group of agents has a ready solution.
The deputy chief mentioned the people’s resentment and the fatigue that was gathering in the society.
“It is difficult in seven election campaigns within three and a half years to say very different things. The new thing is largely related to what we are trying to show our voters – our consistency in actions,” he explained.
Prof. confirmed. Andrey Chorbanov that ITN programs have not changed over time, but there are also things that have been updated according to the society’s agenda.
He mentioned the work of the 50th National Assembly and the work of the tribune of the parliament in the last session.
“When the rules for working in parliament are not respected, a signal is sent to citizens that the law can be broken even in the highest levels of power. The last working day of the parliament was a good example of this,” said Prof. Chorbanov.
According to him, such important topics, such as energy, should not be brought up for consideration at the last minute. He specified that points in the rules regarding the quorum were not being followed, that there was no time for debates and criticism about the proposed changes. Everything that ITN did (live in the tribune – br) was the result of the violations that were made.
“I am too close to “Maritsa East” and with good knowledge of the subject, I will repeat again – this money would have gone into the pockets of a dozen companies. Certain companies would benefit from that money, they would not flow into our economy and they would not reach the miners,” he explained.
The head of ITN lists in Veliko Tarnovo and Pazardzhik also said that “Bulgaria is poor in energy resources and it is necessary to protect what we have.”
According to him, it is called carbon footprint, because our country can compensate for it, because of better natural resources, unlike other European countries.
