Case. What does a castle in New York appear from the Gilded Age look like? What can we do about it? Is Roosevelt’s presidential estate from the Golden Age? What do we see there?

New York State lists the birthplace of former United States President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and the large estate that surrounds it, on its list of Golden Age places to explore.
Here, we walk through the gardens and private quarters of the Roosevelt family but also of the famous couple Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt.
The guided tour will allow you to appreciate the thousands of works of art and valuables and learn how Franklin experienced his disability (a long taboo subject during the man’s life) or that Nelson Mandela stayed there for a few years after his to be freed from prison (and what trace has remained here).
Specific to the location
Our visit allows us to emphasize this: the visitor will have a very pleasant time, if he is attentive here if he focuses on the small stories hidden behind the works of art. The tour is a fascinating journey into the world view of the owner who lived there as well as a journey into the history of the Great Depression in the 1930’s which saw a president who had an entire hungry population ‘ count to succeed in living.
Name: Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site
That is: without a doubt the most interesting, surprising and complete place from the Golden Age. You should allow several hours to see everything. No indoor photography.
