At the end of 967 days of guerra, Volodímir Zelenski has gone to Brussels to participate in the summit of the leaders of the European Union and present his “Plan for Victory”. The Ukrainian president has asked his European partners for “unity” in order to convince “other leaders” to also support his requests, such as authorizing kyiv to attack Russian territory with long-range weapons.
In addition, Zelensky will participate this Thursday in a meeting of defense ministers of the I’LL TAKE in Brussels. The leader has included the need for Ukraine to be immediately invited to join the Alliance in his strategy to end the war.
Zelensky calls for unity from the EU on his Plan for Victory
“The invitation will strengthen our diplomatic posture and will be one of the main arguments to stop the war,” Zelensky said. However, the allies expressed different positions on Thursday about the urgency of inviting Ukraine, although they supported its entry in the future.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian authorities have reported that Russia launched an attack this morning on energy infrastructure in the region of Mykolaiv which has left some consumers without electricity. In addition, kyiv’s army has reported that its air defenses have shot down 22 of the 56 drones sent by Moscow this morning.
