Two people died in a fire on Wednesday in Imatra.
The police and the rescue service received a report about a fire that broke out in a detached house on Atreankatu around 5:20 p.m. A bystander reported the fire to the emergency center.
The rescue service of South Karelia said at six in the evening that the building is in the stage of full fire.
The fire department extinguished the fire and two people were found dead in the burned-out detached house.
The Southeastern Finland police are investigating the cause of the fire.
