Company named Amazon Launches a new line of Kindle devices designed for e-reading, including the first Kindle device with a color screen, called Colorsoft Signature Edition.
The new collection includes updated versions of the Kindle Scribe note-taking device, as well as the advanced Kindle Paperwhite, and the basic Kindle device.
The Colorsoft Signature Edition includes a color screen that provides a paper-like reading experience, supports the display of coloring books and pictures, with the ability to enlarge images without losing quality, and words and highlight paragraphs in different colors.
The new device features water resistance, fast page navigation, wireless charging support, long-lasting battery, and advanced LED lighting. This device will be offered at a price of 280 US dollars, and will be launched at the end of this October.
As for the new Kindle Scribe device, it combines electronic reading and note-taking functions, comes with a screen with a resolution of 300 pixels per inch, and includes a special pen with an eraser.
The tool provides a new experience for taking notes directly on book pages, with the ability to add comments to the sidebar, and offers artificial intelligence technology to convert notes into bullet points.
The Kindle Scribe device will be available at a price of $400, and is expected to be released in early December next December.
As for the Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon has upgraded it to be the “fastest” device yet, with a 7-inch screen, and longer battery life.
The device comes at a price starting from $160 for a capacity of 16 GB, with access to the Signature Edition, which supports wireless charging and automatic front lighting, and includes a storage capacity of 32 GB at a price of $200.
As for the basic Kindle device, Amazon offers it at a price of $110, with a light weight of 180 grams, a non-reflective 6-inch screen with a resolution of 300 pixels per inch, and a storage capacity of 16 GB. Amazon has improved the speed of navigation between pages, and it is very similar to the previous version released in 2022.
