Sean “Diddy” Combs was accused of raping a woman as “revenge” for believing he was involved in Tupac Shakur’s murder.
In a lawsuit filed in California, Ashley Baram claims that the musician threatened to cut her face with a knife in retaliation for her comments.
Mr Combs has yet to respond to the allegations, but has consistently denied all allegations of sexual assault.
He also denied involvement in the shooting death of rapper Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas in 1996.
The murder has never been solved, although former gang member Dwayne “Keefe D” Davis was charged with murder last year.
Davis, whose trial will begin in March 2025, had said that Combs offered him $1 million (£769,000) to commit murder against Shakur.
In legal papers filed in California on Tuesday, Baram says she developed a crush on Combs after meeting one of his friends at a bar in 2018.
Combs’ friend was “trying to impress people” by doing a video call with him, but Baram refused to participate because she believed the rapper “had something to do with Tupac Shakur’s murder.”
In the lawsuit, Baram says Combs heard her idea and said she would pay for it.”
Baram also claims that about a month later, the friend invited her to his house asking for help with his cancer medications, and Combs showed up unexpectedly.
Param says the rapper came at her “with a knife, holding it to the right side of her face and threatening to give her a ‘Glasgow smile’ as punishment for her previous statements.
The documents also say that Combos tore off her clothes and “violently raped her with a television device.”
Baram claims that Combs told her during the ordeal that her life was in his hands, and if he wanted, no one would see her again.
According to the allegations, Param says that several people forced her “until she finally lost control of her body and could not move it.”
Baram confirms that she finally tried to escape, but Combs confronted him, offering her money to say what happened was consensual, according to her allegations.
According to the lawsuit, she ran to the neighbors for help, where bullets were fired in her direction. By this time the neighbors had already called the police, having heard a commotion nearby.
Baram says she reported to the Contra Costa Police Department that she was raped by Combs and his accomplices, but nothing was done.
Three weeks later she went to the hospital, and staff contacted the local police, however, Param says none of the police reports led to an investigation.
Baram is suing Combs and six others for sexual assault, battery, mistreatment, unlawful restraint and kidnapping, and is asking for a jury trial.
The BBC has contacted his lawyer for comment, and is also seeking a response from the other defendants.

Baram’s case is the latest of a dozen rape, sexual and physical assault complaints filed against Combs in the past year.
While six new cases were registered in New York alone on Monday, including allegations that he disturbed a sixteen-year-old boy at a party at his mansion.
In response to these cases, the star’s lawyers told the BBC that Combs “did not sexually assault anyone – adult or minor, male or female.”
They also described the previous lawsuits as “money grabs” and “obvious attempts to gain fame.”
Combs is currently being held in a New York detention center, awaiting trial on federal criminal charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking.
On Tuesday, Combs’ lawyers filed a motion to release the identities of his accusers, in preparation for the trial, which is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
His lawyers also said the number of anonymous allegations against Combs was “very damaging” to his character and reputation.
“These circulating allegations have created a media frenzy that, if left unchecked, will deprive Combs of a fair trial, if he has not already done so,” according to the document.
The music mogul’s lawyers also called for him to be released on bail, citing the “terrible” conditions he is facing at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
However, prosecutors responded that he was a threat to witnesses.
The musician, who was considered one of the most influential producers in the hip-hop scene of the 1990s, is known for his famous singles.
