USA GP Austin on TV: King Verstappen, beggar Norris / Formula 1

For the fourth time in 2024 (after Shanghai, Miami and Spielberg), the sprint format will be raced at the Circuit of the Americas near Austin (Texas). Verstappen is the sprint king, Norris is without a sprint victory.

The final quarter of the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship begins with three races within three weeks: Austin (USA), Mexico City, Interlagos (Brazil). In Texas and Sao Paulo the sprint format is used.

The currently most successful Formula 1 drivers – Max Verstappen and Lando Norris – performed very differently. The three-time Formula 1 world champion Verstappen has won the last five sprints; Overall, Max won ten times in 15 sprints.

The balance of Verstappen-Jäger and Singapore winner Lando Norris is completely different: sprint poles in Interlagos 2023 and Shanghai 2024, but the McLaren driver has never been able to win a sprint.
