The Faculty of Journalism congratulates 3rd year students on receiving the Anatoly Grigorievich Lysenko Scholarship

On October 14, the ceremony of awarding the Anatoly Grigorievich Lysenko Scholarship to students of creative specialties took place at the Russian State University for the Humanities. This year it was received by students from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, MGIMO, GITR, Russian State University for the Humanities and St. Petersburg State University. The scholarship recipients included students of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow University, correspondents of the Mokhovaya 9 TV channel Polina Shtifanova and Dmitry Ryazantsev.

The award ceremony took place as part of the talk show: “Journalist of the New Time: Challenges, Skills, Competencies” at the Faculty of Journalism of the Russian State University for the Humanities. The discussion took place in a hybrid format: expert teachers from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, MGIMO, GITR, Russian State University for the Humanities, St. Petersburg State University and the International Academy of Television and Radio discussed the topics of artificial intelligence in education and the specifics of the work of neural networks, answered students’ questions and congratulated the scholarship recipients.

The scholarship named after Anatoly Grigoryevich Lysenko was established by the Foundation for Support of Cultural and Educational Projects “Anatoly Lysenko Foundation” in 2023. Its recipients are paid a scholarship in the amount of 15,000 rubles throughout the semester, and the laureates are offered an internship on federal television channels. The scholarship is designed to support active and talented students at leading Russian universities and to form a community of young professionals in creative professions.
