Kansas City Chiefs beat New Orleans Saints

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the New Orleans Saints 26-13 tonight at the close of week five of the NFL, remaining undefeated on the season.

Kansas, leader in the AFC West sector, dominated the game at Arrowhead Stadium and made the experts’ predictions valid.

A run by running back Kareem Hunt put the Chiefs ahead in the first quarter and in the second, kicker Harrison Butker added three more points for the cause after making a field goal to make it 10-0.

A 43-yard reception took Rashid Shaheed into the goal area to bring the Saints within 10-7.

Butker increased the hosts’ lead to 16-7 by scoring two field goals in the final two minutes of the second quarter.

The Chiefs went on offense with short plays at the beginning of the third quarter. However, they failed to cross the red zone and even had the luxury of missing a field goal.

In the fourth quarter Derek Carr scored for the Saints, who missed the field goal to make the score 16-13.

Just three minutes later, the Kansas team regained control of the game by scoring a new touchdown through Xavier Worthy. Butker sealed the victory for the Chiefs with a new final field goal.

Those from Kansas have a perfect record of five wins, while the Saints have two wins and three losses.

The Saints’ next game will be against the Tampa Buccaneers, while the Chiefs will have a rest.
