Who can apply for the rent contribution
The rent contribution is intended for those who are in economic difficulties and I am no longer able to pay the rent. This support is aimed at those who have suffered a significant loss of family income and have received an eviction order from their landlord. The goal is offer concrete help to families who find themselves in a critical situation and risk losing their home.
Tenants who meet the required requirements can access the contribution from the art. 3 of the Decree of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of 30 March 2016. Resources are limited, so it is important that applicants meet the established criteria to obtain financial support, intended to avoid eviction or facilitate the signing of a new rental contract.

Request method and value of the contribution
The contribution is paid to the owner of the property by the Municipality, who receives funds from the Region. The maximum amount that can be granted is equal to 12.000 euro, as established by the art. 4 of the Decree of 30 March 2016. This money can be used to avoid eviction or to postpone it, as well as to stipulate a new rental contract if necessary.
To request the contribution, it is necessary to submit the application through the institutional website of the Municipality or through other channels such as PEC, registered mail or hand delivery to the competent offices. The use of SPID credentials, Electronic Identity Card or National Services Card for electronic submission is mandatory. The application does not involve any cost for the applicant and can be submitted in self-certification pursuant to art. 46 of Presidential Decree 445/2000.
