Government of Venezuela reaffirms ties of brotherhood and solidarity with Brazil and Lula

“The Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy reaffirms its commitment to building ties of brotherhood and solidarity between Brazil and Venezuela, which have advanced, in recent times, in important and diverse political, economic and social areas,” the Foreign Ministry said in a message in his Telegram channel.

In the text, the office made it clear that “the recent statements issued by the Attorney General of the Republic, regarding President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, correspond to opinions of very personal character and at no time do they reflect the position of the National Executive, responsible for Venezuelan foreign policy.

Saab denounced the launch of a “campaign orchestrated by foreign media, by taking it out of context and manipulating it at their convenience to distort an opinion expressed about the president of Brazil Lula Da Silva” in a national television program.

In this regard, the Prosecutor also assured that they “cannot in any way be attributed to the official position of the National Executive; “who has their regular channels and official spokespersons to address the issues that arise.”

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry guaranteed that “relations between countries, states and peoples will continue to strengthen” in the future.
