Emirates SkyCargo, the cargo division of the largest international airline, has transported more than 48,000 tonnes of goods from Morocco since 2019.
By connecting Moroccan businesses to global opportunities, the company actively supports supply chains and contributes to Morocco’s economic growth. The majority of goods loaded in Casablanca, more than 70%, are perishable products, notably fresh fruits and vegetables. Emirates
SkyCargo offers logistics solutions adapted for the Moroccan agricultural sector, guaranteeing deliveries in 24 to 48 hours thanks to temperature-controlled infrastructures. Additionally, the company exported 322 tonnes of handmade arts and crafts, showcasing Morocco’s rich cultural heritage while supporting local artisans. Between June 2019 and May 2024, Emirates SkyCargo also imported 22,750 tonnes of goods into Morocco, meeting various market needs.
The carrier has seen significant growth, transporting 2.2 million tonnes of cargo globally for the 2023-2024 financial year, up 18% from the previous year.
This success underlines Emirates SkyCargo’s commitment to the economic development of Morocco and the increase in international trade.
