The only candidate for the presidency of the Angolan Handball Federation (FAAND), José Amaral “Maninho”, will work today, Tuesday, in the region of Huambo and Bié, with a view to the 2024/2028 elections.
The elections, scheduled for the 19th of this month, could reinstate José Amaral “Maninho” for a second consecutive term. Yesterday, the leader of the list appealed for voting and abstention in the city of Gabela, province of Cuanza-Sul.
Earlier, José Amaral “Maninho” held a courtesy meeting with the administrator of the town of Amboim, Darcy Costa, to whom he asked for support for sports and infrastructure development for the qualitative leap in handball used in the that part of the country.
He also shared the election program with a local government official. Just yesterday, the candidate, at Waku Kungo, met with the leaders of the Clube Recreativo da Cela, an association that will not vote because it has not yet renewed its mandate. In that city, he will provide sports equipment to the local brand and detail the structural pillars of the program.
