This Tuesday, October 15, the Town Hall opens its doors for workshops, upon registration, around the theme “responsible digital technology, what are the challenges for organizations?”
Committed to the environmental and social impacts of digital development and as part of its policy towards responsible digital technology, the City of Marseille works to promote reasoned, exemplary and collective uses. Since 2020, it has initiated a large movement to transform its practices and worked towards cultural transition by strengthening its mediation actions. In this sense, it has initiated strategic policies, focusing its approach on training and support for the public.
By its adhesion in 2024 to the charter of the Responsible Digital Institute (INR), a reference organization, which supports communities in their work around these issues, it confirms its commitment in this direction and continues its global approach, with a view to notably a Responsible Digital label in 2024-2025.
It is for this reason that the City of Marseille is a partner of the “Design and climate” cycle organized by Flupa* (French-speaking design association) and which aims to raise awareness of the challenges of tomorrow and methods to deal with them.
This cycle of conferences and workshops started at the end of September and the City of Marseille will host the first event open to all, upon registrationaround the theme: responsible digital technology, what are the challenges for organizations?
On the program, from 2 p.m., climate and digital frescoes to better understand the causes and environmental effects of these two subjects, then from 6 p.m., various conferences and round tables with words from experts including feedback on the responsible digital program of the City of Marseille.
