He added that denial attempts in both Kiev and Washington are absolutely ridiculous. “We know very well that the decisions for such actions, for such terrorist attacks, are made not in Kiev, but in Washington.”
Peskov warned that measures in response to the attack would be carefully considered and balanced according to Russia’s interest, but no details could be disclosed for now.
On the same day, the White House National Security Council’s strategic communications coordinator, John Kirby, said the United States had no involvement in the attack on the Kremlin. Washington does not support such actions and has not authorized Kiev to carry out attacks outside Ukraine.
