The winning teams were rewarded.
Curtain on the tenth edition of Science Hack Day, organized by CIDST Tsimbazaza on October 11, 12 and 13, 2024. This event, highlighting science and innovation, saw the support of young science enthusiasts. The participants, divided into several teams, had to develop for 48 hours non-stop, an innovative project using science and innovation, demonstrating originality, and demonstrating its usefulness for society. Three projects stood out among the nine presented to the jury. The teams that developed these three projects were awarded prizes last Sunday. The project “Water recovery and production of electrical energy from urine” particularly convinced the jury and thus took first place. In second place, the project “Intelligent cane for the blind”. Third place went to the project team “Development of new water sources”. The winners received rewards including checks and internet boxes.
The 10th edition of Science Hack Day saw the participation of nine teams totaling 32 participants, including three young girls.
