Nordenham – It started in the 1970s with the catchy tune “Über den Wolken”. Since then, Hartmut Becker has been a passionate fan of Reinhard Mey. But the Blexer not only listens to the famous songwriter’s pieces, but also sings them and accompanies himself on the guitar. Hartmut Becker has now mastered this so well that he ensures a full house every year when he performs in the Jahnhalle. This should be no different at his next concert in the Nordenham cultural center: On Saturday, November 16th, Hartmut Becker will present his new Mey program there entitled “Freedom”.
The retired doctor of chemistry selected and rehearsed around 20 chansons by his great role model for his Jahnhall performance. Sometimes in a narrower, sometimes in a broader sense, they revolve around the theme of “freedom”. Hartmut Becker also sprinkles in little stories and stories that are often tongue-in-cheek and ironic, but sometimes also convey clear messages with a serious background. The audience can look forward to a mix of humorous and thoughtful contributions. The local reference to what is happening in Nordenham and the surrounding area is not neglected either.
The concert in the Jahnhalle starts at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Nordenham Marketing & Touristik on the market square (phone 04731/93640) for 12.50 euros. Entry at the box office costs 15 euros.
