Amati announces the start of public management after the collective dismissal


BARI – Fabiano Amati, regional councilor, announced with satisfaction a significant turning point for the Ceglie Messapica rehabilitation centre. After months of difficulties, conflicts and the collective dismissal of staff decided by the San Raffaele Foundation, the ASL of Brindisi has published recruitment notices for the staff necessary to guarantee the public management of the Centre. This represents a crucial step towards the transition to public management, initially with fixed-term contracts, with subsequent stabilization of staff.

“Finally, after long battles, we can talk about a new era for the Rehabilitation Centre,” declared Amati, thanking with particular emphasis the staff who, without hesitation, supported the path towards public management, contributing to the achievement of this important finish line.

The councilor also expressed gratitude towards the President of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, for the constant support throughout the process, as well as to the general director of the ASL of Brindisi, Maurizio De Nuccio, and to the regional managers who contributed to the success of the initiative . Among these, he cited Vito Montanaro, Mauro Nicastro, Vito Carbone and Antonella Caroli, as well as the lawyers involved in the matter, who provided essential legal assistance.
