Over and over: A hit on the PS4, now Sony is finally pulling the plug

The preservation of video games remains a hotly debated topic. In recent years, numerous online shops and therefore many digital titles have had to die. Both the Wii U shop and the Xbox 360 online store are probably the most striking examples.

Sometimes it’s the end of a single track that causes a stir. One could use The Crew as a current example here. It’s all the more bitter when a game disappears from the stores even though neither the team nor the publisher really want it to.

When did Little Big Planet 3 come out?

Little Big Planet 3 was originally released on November 18, 2014 for the PS4 and PS3. To date, it is the last sandbox about the cuddly Sackboy, who has only appeared in spinoff titles or other adventures since then. However, fans are waiting in vain for a new Little Big Planet.

The game last hit the headlines in the spring. Media Molecule, the studio behind the third part, was forced to temporarily take the PS4 version’s servers offline. The reason for this were technical problems. Since these problems could not be resolved, the servers remained offline until further notice.

At that time we also reported on the server problems on the PS4. Meanwhile, the third part is even worse.
