Photographs taken in the US and UK show the comet on its journey through our inner solar system. It is thought that the comet was last seen by Neanderthals more than 80,000 years ago.
For those who did not get a chance to see it, experts say that the comet can be seen until October 30 with binoculars or even with the naked eye.
Researchers say the comet originates from the Oort Cloud, a large spherical shell that surrounds our solar system and contains billions of objects including comets.
In addition to the comet phenomenon, the British region received an amazing sight like the aurora borealis across England when the light filled the sky with pink and green colors.
