Jean-Jacques Mutombo Dikembe, Congolese NBA star, was buried on Saturday October 12 in Atlanta in the United States of America. In Kinshasa, the nursing and administrative staff of the Biamba Marie Mutombo hospital, founded by the illustrious deceased, followed the screening of this ceremony from this hospital located in Masina, in Kinshasa.
It was at 4 p.m. Kinshasa time that the burial ceremony for Mutombo Dikembe began live from Atlanta in the United States. All the nursing and administrative staff and some partners, arranged under the tents set up for the occasion, followed the projection of this burial ceremony.
A moment of intense emotion at the hospital when Rose Mutombo, the wife of the deceased, spoke:
“He told me this, Rose, you know, you have to be patient. And that’s what I’m going to tell you all, sometimes when you’re facing tribulations, so sometimes be patient.”
On site in the United States, several American personalities, including former President Bill Clinton, paid one after the other vibrant tributes to the illustrious deceased for his generosity.
Doctor Kalonji testifies:
“He still had many projects to accomplish because he had love for his neighbor. And we are able to perpetuate his work so that he lives in our hearts forever”
Mutombo’s body was buried in complete privacy, away from the cameras.
