Zero number between FC Uzwil and FC Kosova.

FC Uzwil is still not getting anywhere – the 0-0 draw against Kosova is already the fifth draw in the eleventh game of the season

After the convincing performance a week ago in Winterthur (5:5), which was, however, poorly rewarded, the Uzwilers’ hopes were high that they would finally get their second win of the season against Kosova – and hope remained.

This performance is not enough to win. FC Uzwil shared the points for the fifth time this season after the 0-0 draw against Kosova. That leaves it with a win this season. The 3-1 win at Eschen/Mauren was over a month ago.

Because Freienbach didn’t sleep and beat SV Schaffhausen 4-0, the Uzwil team fell back into a relegation zone. Now there is a break in the championship. Next Saturday the Gambino team will host Collina d’Oro in the Cup.

No shot on goal in the first half

After the 90 minutes, Uzwil coach Giuseppe “Giusi” Gambino was primarily disappointed with the first half: “We didn’t manage anything going forward, we didn’t have a shot on goal.” The statistics further show that the locals could not kick a corner.

On the other hand, they had to rely on luck when a deflected ball hit the edge of the goal. In contrast to the home team, Kosova had more dangerous actions and could have led by two goals at the break.

The game also had few highlights in the second half, but at least the Uzwil team knew how to improve and had chances. Fabio Moser had his feet in the game in both, but he failed twice.

Things became particularly hectic in the final phase when the hosts had several standing balls in the dangerous zone. However, there was still hope that some ball would find its way into the goal.

As so often this season, the Uzwil team had some good scenes on the field between the sixteens and were at least on a par with their opponents in terms of play. However, the offensive remains a mild breeze. After the previous week, in which the Eastern Swiss team scored five goals against the U21s in Winterthur, there were high expectations that the knot in front of the goal had been loosened. That’s not the case.
