Mexico City, In another case of aggression, the Disciplinary Commission of the Mexican Soccer Federation opened an investigation after the Bravas of Ciudad Juárez reported discriminatory shouts against the players at the Alfonso Lastras stadium during the September 30 match against San Luis, corresponding to matchday 13 of the Apertura 2024 tournament of the Liga Mx Femenil.
“This Commission will proceed to evaluate the evidence presented by the club and will carry out an analysis of the facts,” the entity said in a statement.
“Once the investigations are concluded, the Juárez club will be informed about the resolution that arises from this process,” he added.
The complaint was filed after Bravas goalkeeper Renata Masciarelli claimed on social media that San Luis fans hurled racist insults at members of the Ciudad Juárez team.
“To those who went to Alfonso Lastras to shout racist obscenities at our colleagues, I hope you have the decency to never appear in a soccer stadium again. Totally unacceptable, low and stupid. And to those who just sat there without pointing them out…shame,” Renata Masciarelli published on social networks.
