For his part, Israeli army spokesman Nadav Shoshani said that his army is operating in southern Lebanon as part of “an ongoing conflict with Hezbollah, which has terrorists and infrastructure close to UNIFIL sites, which is a serious threat to the safety of peacekeeping forces. .”
