/Pogled.info/ 75 years have passed since the establishment of relations between the People’s Republic of Bulgaria and the People’s Republic of China – an anniversary that is celebrated a lot by the Chinese side, although it is more shy than Bulgaria. And it shouldn’t, because for three quarters of a century, the two countries have built very good and friendly relations, which put the prospect of an even better and mutually beneficial future on the table.
Today, major geopolitical and geoeconomic changes are taking place in East Asia and around China, and reluctance to deepen our bilateral relations is putting Bulgaria at risk. on the edge of the most important processes of the 21st century. And yet, despite the geopolitical alliance and some dependence, Bulgaria and China manage to maintain good relations, growing trade and very strong cultural ties, which are expressed in student exchange, learning both languages in both countries, in addition to common. position of principles on certain issues. In this regard, a leading role among Bulgarian institutions is played by the institution of the president, which, accepting the Euro-Atlantic direction of the Bulgarian political elite and the state, nevertheless maintains good relations traditional with the People’s Republic of China.
Today, Eurasia and Africa are definitely moving towards integration according to another model, different from the neoliberal model imposed by the US hawks. China, and especially the current leader Xi Jinping, introduced a new modus operandi in international relations, which means mutually beneficial cooperation and equal communication, so that everyone can be satisfied with the majority and that geopolitical tensions do not accumulate.
