/ world today news/ I have reservations that the objective truth about KTB will come to light
“What is written in the report on KTB will be of extreme interest, but I have reservations about whether the objective truth will come to light, because I had the honor of participating in the conversations with the president when the bank was closed.” This was stated by the deputy chairman of BSP LEFT BULGARIA Atanas Merdzhanov on the air of BNR. He emphasized that no answers to specific questions have been received so far. “The very fact that everyone is going to be racing to provide their truth or what they’ve read makes me think that we’re going to get too far away from the actual solution and the state of the problems,” he added. Merdzhanov is adamant that there are serious experts in the BSP who will monitor this process. “What’s more, our opinion is categorical – everything that happened in the banking sphere was paid for by the Bulgarian citizens. This was not the fair and legal solution to the problem, and this is what happens when GERB is in power,” the MP added.
One cannot talk about stability when there are threats to the Prime Minister and people’s representatives
“It is interesting and worrying that in Bulgarian society there are threats to the Prime Minister and people’s representatives, but what is left for the ordinary citizen. We cannot talk about widely proclaimed stability, but we must worry about the normal functioning of the institutions, about the security of the ordinary Bulgarian citizen, because our everyday life is filled with robberies, murders, threats”, commented Merdzhanov. He emphasized that this is happening in a European country, a member of the EU, which claims to solve far more important socio-economic and cultural issues. According to him, if the suspension of public procurement can be called crisis PR, threats are unacceptable and the institutions must do everything possible to dispel these signals. “We looked like a totally destroyed yard, and the state of the economy is so helpless that there is nowhere else to go,” he added.
The GERBs have concessioned health care to the reformers and we are seeing the results
Merdzhanov pointed out that issues such as the new loan of BGN 2 billion, which will be taken, the raising of taxes, the report of the EC, who destroys documents and throws them in the trash, are important and precisely the parliamentary group of BSP LEFT BULGARIA raised them repeatedly. “The problem is that the power, in its current dimension, was running in a panic to answer these questions. We also did not receive specific answers during the vote of no confidence,” he also said. According to him, there has already been a change in the regulation, and this indicates that the vote of no confidence had its rationale. The Deputy Chairman of BSP LEFT BULGARIA recalled that the government was elected with 180 votes, and now 130 voted, which proves that something is creaking in the government’s policy. “GERB has concessioned healthcare to the reformers and we are seeing the results. “They don’t boast any results anyway, as they replaced four ministers of health in their previous mandate,” he commented.
“The move with the wipers, as well as the suspended orders, proves that this is the level and state of the rule of law. Since every relationship in the state can be broken through the will and intention of the prime minister, what can we say – there is no rule of law, no legal framework, no institutions,” emphasized Merdzhanov. He recalled that public procurement in the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of the Interior is the responsibility of the Prime Minister’s favorites, to whom the BSP has repeatedly criticized the vignettes, the condition of the roads and the new personal documents. “When the BSP raises the alarm about a problem, we remain unnoticed, and when we are faced with an alarming situation, it presents itself in a different way. If anyone criticized the Prime Minister for his light-hearted behavior towards the Parliament and the way in which the big problems should be discussed before the public, it was us,” concluded Atanas Merdzhanov.
