Trump leads Harris by 1.2% – 2024-10-10 05:07:00

The Boston-based company “Active Vote” (ActiVote) distributed today the results of a poll, according to which the former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump is ahead of the Vice President of the United States and the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris by 1.2 percent, the world agencies reported.

The poll was conducted Oct. 3-8 among 1,000 American voters and has a 3.1 percent margin of error.

According to Active, Trump leads among rural and suburban voters, while Harris leads among urban voters. Harris leads among younger voters (ages 18-49) and Trump leads among older voters (ages 50 and up).

Harris leads among women, while Trump leads among men.

Trump leads among white voters, while Harris gets 73 percent of the black vote and a substantial majority of 59 percent of the Hispanic vote, according to the Active Vote poll.

There are only small differences between the two presidential candidates in the income and education categories, where Harris has a slight lead among low-income and college-educated Americans.

Trump leads among voters with the highest incomes and those with higher education, according to the data released on the website of “Active Vote”.
