A man is said to have fired a blank gun in Hanau. Investigations are now underway into the violation of the weapons law.

Man shoots a blank gun: 1.64 per mille alcohol in his blood
According to police, the 37-year-old man was under the influence of alcohol. A breath alcohol test showed a value of 1.64 per mille. The blank gun was recovered in a green area in the immediate vicinity. There was never any danger to bystanders, according to the police. Why the man fired the shots is also part of the ongoing investigation. These are being carried out on suspicion of violating the weapons law.
