The transfer list offers several players that you can grab for your fantasy football team. All the best players for Week 6.
It’s another wild week in the NFL and you have another chance to build your fantasy football team with exciting players.
Here are nine tips, ordered by quarterback, wide receiver and running back position, that will help you rack up points in Week 6.
Fourth back
Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams is starting to get hot. The No. 1 pick of the 2024 draft came out of nowhere for 304 yards and two touchdowns and led the Chicago Bears to an impressive 36:10 victory against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5. The Bears expect to performances like this from their new quarterback, who should go last in a new era.
And the rookie could further improve his numbers and performance when he joins the Bears at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. The Jaguars have the weakest pass defense in the league . So now is the time to draft Williams if he becomes available in your fantasy league.
Cousins of the Church
Doubt the veteran all you want, but the 36-year-old has shown he can still set off fireworks. Not only did Cousins run hot in the victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he exploded with 509 yards and four touchdowns for his Atlanta Falcons.
And if the rookie Williams is already putting up 304 yards passing against the Falcons’ next opponent, the Carolina Panthers, how much can the skilled Cousins manage in top form? Put it up if you can.
Joe Flacco
From one veteran to another: Flacco also impressed in Week 5 and posted a solid 359 yards and three touchdown passes in Week 5.
Pulling him off the waiver list and putting him before the Indianapolis Colts game against the Tennessee Titans could be a smart move.
Running back
Bigsby tank
In Week 5, Tank Bigsby posted 101 rushing yards and two touchdowns despite only passing the ball 13 times. Impressive proof of its performance and effectiveness.
Even if he doesn’t keep up the pace in his Jacksonville Jaguars game against the Chicago Bears in Week 6, it could be beneficial in the next few weeks to get the second-year rusher off the waiver list and put up
Rico Dowdle
If Rico Dowdle’s 87 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Dallas Cowboys in their win over the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t open your eyes to running backs, you’re beyond help.
The 26-year-old has been building steadily and even though the Detroit Lions are tough opponents in Week 6, what better way to surprise him against a powerhouse team?
Can Dowdle help you and survive? It is definitely possible.
Tyrone Tracy Jr.
Tracy added 129 rushing yards on 18 carries in the New York Giants’ Week 5 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Tracy will be next against the Cincinnati Bengals with their porous run defense.
Put it up if you can.
A wide receiver
Josh Downs
Josh Downs is increasingly looking for his quarterback Joe Flacco for the Colts, which means more catches and more receiving yards. Last week he had nine catches for 69 yards.
Grab it and get it sorted before the Colts take on the Tennessee Titans this weekend.
Jalen Tolbert
The aforementioned Rico Dowdle holds the opposing defense, which will create space for Jalen Tolbert, who collected seven receptions on ten passes in the last game and gained 87 yards of space. Could the 25-year-old improve this year?
Don’t pass it on the exemption list and find out for yourself.
Darnell Mooney
The veteran wide receiver has great chemistry with Kirk Cousins, who has rushed for 330 yards and three touchdowns this year. And Mooney puts up those numbers as a consistent playing spot for his quarterback.
If Mooney is truly available in your Fantasy League, it’s a no-brainer. For Week 6 against the Carolina Panthers. And for many other games.
