About 50 families from San José de Mayo registered their home

This Tuesday the 8th, the Minister of Housing and Territorial Planning, Raúl Lozano, gave the residents of the Dardo Carsin complex, located in the Maragata capital, the property titles of their homes. The leader highlighted that a “long desire” of the 50 beneficiary families could be fulfilled after 25 years and recalled that this housing complex was finalized after an agreement with the National Defense portfolio.

On the occasion of the signatures, Lozano reviewed his management at the Ministry of Housing and Territorial Planning. He referred to the settlements and houses built with social work for the most vulnerable people and added that housing solutions have been managed in 108 settlements throughout the country, of which 22 have already been completed and 86 are under construction.

The minister also referred to the bidding processes and the investment of the portfolio, which began with 100 million dollars, and has exceeded 113 million. This money is reflected in constructions throughout the national territory, he said.

Likewise, he indicated that, on Tuesday afternoon, 10 Mevir homes will be distributed in Carreta Quemada, a small town located 40 kilometers from the capital of the department.

Lozano emphasized that the program carried out by the organization lasted, it is an example for the entire country, it has transcended governments, and, thanks to the law of urgent consideration No. 19,889, of July 9, 2020, it was possible to cover localities of up to 15,000 inhabitants.
