Kinder Joy of Moving day of children’s gymnastics in Mainz

We are pleased that TSV SCHOTT Mainz is hosting the highlight event of the “Kinder Joy of Moving Day of Children’s Gymnastics” on November 10th this year. It’s a great opportunity to get children excited about gymnastics and give them an unforgettable day.

The German gymnastics team in Mainz

This year again, athletes from the Gymnastics Team Germany will be taking part in Children’s Gymnastics Day. On November 10th, the young participants can look forward to special gymnastics stars. Among them are Olympic champion Darja Varfolomeev and “Kinder Joy of Moving” ambassador Andy Toba. Under the motto “Learn from and with the grown-ups”, the children have the opportunity to train together with the professionals and get valuable tips and tricks from them.

The athletes who will be in Mainz:
• Andy Toba, multiple German champion and European runner-up in 2021 on the horizontal bar
• Darja Varfolomeev, 2024 Olympic champion and 2023 world champion in rhythmic gymnastics
• Margarita Kolosov, 2024 Olympic fourth place in rhythmic gymnastics
• Eli Seitz, German record champion
• Lukas Dauser, 2023 parallel bars world champion
• Nils Dunkel, third place at the 2022 European Championships on the pommel horse
• Maya Möller, 2023 Junior World Champion in Synchronized Trampoline Gymnastics

These gymnastics stars are not only available for autographs and photos, but also actively train with the children and share their experiences. This creates a very special experience for the young gymnasts, where they can experience their role models up close.

Discover the world of gymnastics in a playful way

This year’s program has the motto “Circus Child”, which immerses children in an imaginative circus world. Whether as jugglers, acrobats or circus artists – the little ones can try things out and discover the joy of gymnastics in a playful way. They get to know different gymnastics equipment and experience how much fun exercise can be. As a reminder of this exciting day, each child receives a certificate and an iron-on sticker.

The “Kinder Joy of Moving Gymnastics Course” is another highlight of the event. Here the children can try out various gymnastics elements such as obstacle jumps, cartwheels or balance exercises. The course offers an ideal opportunity to combine gymnastics with fun and to promote children’s motor skills.

Registration and time slot

In order to enable as many children as possible to take part in this special event, the day will be divided into four time slots:
• 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m
• 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m
