The Region of Murcia will vaccinate more than 7,000 elderly and disabled people against flu and covid

The seasonal vaccination campaign against respiratory diseases (influenza and seasonal dose of modified vaccine against covid) in the Region of Murcia started today in the residences of the elderly people and people with disabilities. The 2024 flu campaign

Pedreño recalled that the flu vaccination started on September 30 in schools for all children at the Early Childhood Education level, and “at the same time, the flu vaccination will continue in children’s health centers between 6months and 5 years oldand everyone who doesn’t get vaccinated in the school environment.”

The total cost of this flu vaccination campaign amounts to 3,785,278 euros, 1,400,278 more than the last one, as more doses of enhanced immunity were purchased to protect people aged 75 years or older.
