New partner for Messi? Pogba could reach MLS if he terminates with Juventus

After confirming the reduction in his sanction for positive doping, in Europe they assure that he would leave the Vecchia Signora and his destination would be in the United States, where he already owns a house in Miami.

Paul Pogba is getting closer to returning to the field after the CAS confirmed the reduction of his original four-year ban for doping to 18 months, which would allow him to play again in March 2025.

Although his record belongs to Juventus, his future seems not to be in Turin but rather he would have a complete change of scenery and could end up in the MLS, where Inter Miami appears as an alternative.

According to TalkSport Radio, the intention of the world champion with France in the 2018 World Cup in Russia would be to have a start from scratch and end up in American soccer, which would mark the end of his successful career in Europe.

Given this scenario, speculation quickly grew regarding potential points to land and one of the ones that gained the most strength was Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.

Pogba was present at the Las Garzas duel against Charlotte FC on September 28 (where he even took a photo with Bizarrap) and already has a house in said Florida city, so social networks quickly became excited about the chance to see him on the same team as the captain of the Argentine National Team.

Why was Pogba suspended?

The Italian Anti-Doping Court found him guilty for having found dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in the aforementioned control. The fine of five thousand euros was also annulled and it was explained that the 18-month sanction will be taken from September 11, 2023.

The CAS decision was based on evidence and legal arguments provided by Pogba, who explained that he took the substance by mistake as a supplement prescribed by a Florida doctor. He even accepted a one-year sentence for the existence of some fault on his part, but requested that the non-existence of negligence be determined.

What was determined was that the player cannot be exempt from blame for being a professional and having to be attentive to these types of circumstances. However, starting in January he will be able to return to training at Juventus – he has a contract until 2026 – and in March he will be able to reappear on the court, on the eve of his 32nd birthday.
