/ world today news/ PG of BSP LEFT BULGARIA left the plenary hall in protest
The representative from the PG of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA Filip Popov suggested that after the end of the address of the President Rosen Plevneliev in the plenary hall on the occasion of the political consultations, the debate should be broadcast on the air of BNT and BNR and through their air – to become available to the Bulgarian citizens . However, the majority in the plenary hall rejected the socialist’s proposal. “This decision is also the reason why the PG of the BSP LEFT BULGARIA left the plenary hall, not as a sign of disrespect to the head of state,” declared the deputy chairman of the National Assembly of the BSP Yanaki Stoilov from the parliamentary rostrum.
In his words, the chairman of the largest parliamentary group is again trying, under the veil of agreement, to hide the real problems and contradictions. Stoilov stated that questions of an economic nature should be put to the prime minister, because the president cannot solve them. He emphasized that the majority has the full power – to stop or open public contracts, to decide the issues of tourism, energy and the extraction of minerals.
“If we don’t realize that we are a parliamentary republic and we don’t listen to words from the throne, the height of this tribune on which we sit will have almost no meaning,” the vice-president of the left was categorical. According to him, the misunderstanding of the nature of the state structure of Bulgaria and the attempts to solve the issues in our country in an authoritarian-manipulative way will not lead to agreement. “There will only be an apparent, false agreement, which we refuse to be a part of,” said Stoilov. According to him, this once again raises the question – by whom Bulgaria is governed and in whose interest.
