The municipal spokesperson of the Popular Party has today demanded that Abel Caballero do Ryanair fulfill the contract it signed with the City Council through which he committed to operate three weekly flights to London in high season and that he does not accept the compromise that the airline now offers him: enabling a third weekly flight in November and December.
Miguel Martín refers to a letter that those responsible for Ryanair have sent to the local government offering this third flight between Peinador and Stansted airport as “counterpart” for having suppressed, this summer, in the middle of high seasonone of the three links with the London capital established in the contract signed between the City Council of Vigo and the Irish company.

Sanctions
Martín urges the mayor to apply the sanctions contemplated in that contract for cases of non-compliance with its conditions and rejects that with this third flight to London from next month Ryanair intends to offer reparation. “He does it out of mere commercial interest”points out the popular spokesperson, remembering that The airline already included that link last year.
Statements by the popular municipal spokesperson, Miguel Martín
For the opposition councilor “there is no comparison” between high season – from June to September – and low season – from November to March – and warns that If the contract signed at the time is not applied, it would be the same as “let Ryanair do what it wants, whenever it wants”.
