On Sunday evening, Koch was on the pitch for 90 minutes in the Bundesliga’s top game (3:3) against Bayern Munich. But he dragged himself through the final phase with a pained expression on his face. After the game, the Frankfurt star was examined by FC Bayern and DFB doctor Dr. Jochen Hahne (46) is investigating, now comes the rejection.
“It was actually discussed in the medical meeting that Robin was unable to play in three games this week. “After his appearances against Kiel and Besiktas, he continued to grit his teeth to be able to play against Bayern,” explained Frankfurt coach Dino Toppmöller (43) after the final whistle on Sunday.

And added: “Robin did it brilliantly, he’s a total mentality player. But now we have to see whether it makes sense for him to join the national team.”
