On the first anniversary of the Palestinian operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” against Israel, the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two new military operations in solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon.

According to official statements by the spokesperson of the Ansarallah movement, these actions represent the fifth phase of a strategy of escalation in the regional conflict. The intensification of Yemeni military activities underscores the growing complexity of the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East.

The first operation, called “Operation Yaffa”, targeted Israeli military installations in the occupied area of Yaffa (Tel Aviv). Two missiles were used: a “Palestina 2”, described as a hypersonic ballistic missile, and a “Zulfikar”. The spokesman stated that the operation “successfully achieved its objectives.” The Israeli army confirmed the firing of a surface-to-surface missile from Yemen, triggering sirens in Tel Aviv.

In a second action, the Yemeni Air Force launched several drones of the “Yaffa” and “Samad 4” models against targets in the occupied areas of Yaffa (Tel Aviv) and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat). According to the statement, “some of these drones managed to reach their objectives.”

The Ansarallah movement reiterated its commitment to continue military operations against Israel and maintain a naval blockade of the Israeli entity. These actions, as they declared, will continue “until the aggressions against Gaza and Lebanon cease.”

In response to these operations, the United States, United Kingdom and Israel have intensified their attacks against Yemen. Nearly 900 airstrikes are reported in an attempt to stop the country’s pro-Palestinian military operations.

On October 4, American and British warplanes they launched more than a dozen raids in four provinces of Yemen, hitting multiple locations, including the airport in the capital, Sana’a, and the main port city, Hodeidah.

US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that same day having attacked “15 Houthi targets in areas of Yemen controlled by the Iran-backed Houthis.” These attacks are part of Washington’s efforts to deter Yemeni operations in support of Palestine and Lebanon, although they have so far been unsuccessful.
