The National Defense fund will be used to operationally strengthen the different areas that support the fight against terrorist groups within the framework of the Territorial Control Plan.
In the area of Education, we seek to implement strategies to continue the digital transformation of the educational system, teaching and learning to children at the basic level and avoiding school dropouts.
For the Housing area, the resources are destined to strengthen the Property Legalization Institute to ensure land ownership for families with limited economic resources.
The resources to the MOP will serve to guarantee institutional operation during the remainder of 2024 in order to continue with the execution of strategic road infrastructure projects, as explained by the Treasury representative.
As reported by Laura Arce, representative of the Ministry of Finance, the $159.9 million will be taken from the allocations available within the current budget of the Treasury branch of the general fund.
