Premium Rice Prices Rise, Curly Red Chilies Fall: Here is a complete list of food price fluctuations

FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The National Food Agency (Bapanas) noted that the prices of national food products changed on Monday (7/10/2024). Based on data from the Bapanas Price Panel at 08.00 WIB, several products showed an upward trend, while others were declining.

The price of high grade rice rose by 0.19 percent or IDR 30 to IDR 15,550 per kilogram (kg), while medium rice actually fell by 0.56 percent or IDR 90 to IDR 13,480 per kg. Meanwhile, Bulog rice supply and food price stability (SPHP) fell slightly by 0.16 percent or IDR 20 to IDR 12,550 per kg.

On the other hand, the price of cloves jumped 4.15 percent or IDR 1,180 to IDR 29,600 per kg, and the head of garlic rose 2.22 percent or IDR 880 to IDR 40,540 per kg. On the other hand, the price of curly red chilies decreased by 0.39 percent or IDR 120 to IDR 30,700 per kg. Meanwhile, red cayenne pepper increased by 3.24 percent or IDR 1,450 to IDR 46,270 per kg.

It was recorded that the pure beef product fell by 0.15 percent or IDR 200 to IDR 134,590 per kg, while pure chicken meat rose by 0.84 percent or IDR 280 to IDR 34,690 per kg. The price of pure chicken eggs increased by 1.16 percent or IDR 330 to IDR 28,710 per kg.

Imported dry soybeans increased by 1.21 percent or IDR 130 to IDR 10,890 per kg, while sugar consumption rose by 1.90 percent or IDR 340 to IDR 18,200 per kg. Plain packaged cooking oil was stable at IDR 18,110 per kg, while bulk cooking oil fell 2.44 percent or IDR 400 to IDR 15,980 per kg.
