Bulgarian rural tourism is gaining more and more popularity in Great Britain, writes “Monitor”. The prestigious English newspaper “The Times” included a mountain villa in Gabrovo in its ranking “Unusual vacation spots in Europe”. The country villa is ranked 11th out of 31 summer accommodation offers across Europe. Until now, the Bulgarian countryside was not among the most preferred holiday destinations by foreign tourists, but this will change very soon, the publication’s material states.
The author of the article expresses his admiration for the Bulgarian villa by vividly describing it: “The town of Gabrovo, located about 100 km from the capital Sofia, is home to a unique country house built directly on the rocks. At first glance it looks quite ordinary, but the moment you look or enter it, you realize how unique it is. Centuries-old rocks enhance the view along with the majestic Botev peak.”
