Erdogan’s lead over Kulçdaroğlu after opening 99.86% of ballot boxes is 4.35% – 2024-10-06 22:43:08

/ world today news/ The difference between Turkey’s incumbent President Tayyip Erdogan and the only opposition candidate Kemal Kulçdaroğlu in the presidential election on May 14 after 99.86% of the ballot boxes were opened has narrowed to 4.35 percentage points, according to the state television channel TRT.

Erdogan won 49.34% of the votes and his main rival – 44.99%. The third candidate from the ATA alliance, Sinan Ogan, received 5.23%, reports TASS.

Earlier, Turkey’s current president, Tayyip Erdogan, said he was leading the presidential election “by a clear margin.”
