During this Saturday and Sunday, Tropical Storm Milton with winds of 63 to 119 km/h is expected to move over the Gulf of Mexico heading east. It is expected that during Sunday night or early Monday morning it will intensify into a Category 1 hurricane with winds of 119 to 153 km/h north of the coast of Yucatan. During Tuesday, Hurricane Milton could intensify to Category 2 or category 3
In a virtual press conference, he announced that the states most affected by the rains and strong waves will be: Yucatán, Campeche, Quintana Roo, Tamaulipas and Veracruz.
The hurricane will head to Florida
By Wednesday, he expects the hurricane to move away from the country towards Florida, United States.

The coordinator warned that it is expected that, starting in the middle of next week, a new system will develop with a potential of 40% of cyclonic development.
For its part, the Conagua emergency team reiterated that it has 775 elements of the infrastructure protection and emergency response brigade and 1,476 specialized emergency response teams.
