Then, Joanna Osyda presented the results of her work. The actress played the role of Artemas, who promoted the hit “I Like the Way You Kiss Me”. The reference was the original music video. During rehearsals, the star was looking for a male voice. – Asia caught a very beautifully dark color, now we will lighten it. It’s a matter of carving it so that it is not too dark – explained Agnieszka Hekiert. Did the participant herself have any concerns about the metamorphosis? – He sings in such a specific way, as if he were a bit of a zombie, with such vampire energy, that’s how I think about it. It’s hard not to think it’s a caricature, she revealed. How did it work out in the end? – I love your plasticity on stage – said Stefano Terrazzino. – I am delighted that every time you go on stage, your acting is on point. You are just like the character you play. You are a beautiful, petite woman, and these men are doing so well, Justyna Steczkowska pointed out. – I was moved by this performance – revealed Małgorzata Walewska.
A unique Polish diva
– Edyta Górniak has a special place in my heart. I have loved her as an artist since childhood, said Kuba Szyperski, who had the opportunity to transform into his idol. He performed the song “I am a woman”, and the reference to the show was one of the live recordings. – Edyta’s entire interpretive story is extremely deep. And this must be given back – said Agnieszka Hekiert. The participant admitted in an interview with Agnieszka Hyży that he managed to meet the original star in 2012. He was then a finalist of “Must Be the Music. Just music.” What did the jurors say about this metamorphosis? – You had many sounds like Edyta Górniak. And that movement, that hair. Perfectly. Another episode, another action from the “Invite a friend” series. And the main roles are Patricia Kazadi and Mariusz Ostrowski, who was a participant of the eighth edition of “Your Face Sounds Familiar”. The drawn duet for this pair is Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder and their hit song titled “Ebony and Ivory”. – It is a difficult task to play someone who cannot see. You can do it well, or you can do it in a pastiche way – said the actress about the R&B singer she played. In general, I must say that today’s episode is a talent festival. The heart grows, Małgorzata Walewska noted. – You work together so wonderfully. One-man show
– Post Malone is a rapper. There’s a lot of this blasé attitude there. He is complaining and it must be heard – Agnieszka Hekiert gave vocal advice to Bartek Wrona, who faced the song “Better Now”. In this performance, it was very important to reflect the energy of the original character. – What I’m afraid of is that the quality of hip-hop isn’t there. There’s a disco routine to it that we have to get rid of – Maciej Zakliczyński revealed how the choreography training went. Here are the results of working on this metamorphosis! – This move was embedded in you, it wasn’t far away. I’m waiting for a bigger challenge, said Stefano Terrazzino. – The only problem that appeared here was fitness – pointed out Małgorzata Walewska. – That doesn’t mean your performance was bad. He was very cool, said the juror.
“Metallic” performance
Damian Kret reached for Metallica’s repertoire and their classic ballad “Nothing Else Matters”. What did he say about the group’s leader, James Hetfield? – Difficult player for me. He thinks a lot inside, nothing on his face, but inside there is power, power – he explained during training. He also shared another reflection with Agnieszka Hyży. – The contrast to me is amazing, something completely different. I’m throwing my insides out, he said later before entering the elevator. So how did it go? – It looks great – said Małgorzata Walewska when she saw the star on stage. – Mole, you were a lion today. This metamorphosis was simply powerful – commented the opera singer afterwards. – Great. You charmed me with this solo and these riffs. Congratulations, I liked this performance very much – praised Piotr Gąsowski. – Congratulations, because you introduced us to the atmosphere of this particular song, this band – complimented Justyna Steczkowska.
With panache and energy
Who’s next? Reni Jusis as one of the leading Polish singers. The intricacies of the performance were explained by acting teacher Marcin Przybylski: – Edyta Geppert is very expressive. Reni, who is used to such club singing and swinging a little more, here has to straighten up, gain energy and make very broad gestures, which are paradoxically difficult to learn – he said during training. The song presented by the star is a hit of the 80s: “Oh, life, I love you more than life.” – Edyta Geppert is as much a monument to me as Édith Piaf – said the singer. She dedicated the performance to her mother. What do the jurors say? – Well, I see this is the program for you. How you have developed, this win in the last episode certainly gave you wings – said Małgorzata Walewska. – This is one of my favorite Polish songs. A hymn about life. It was your version, but close to it, a mixture – said Stefano Terrazzino. – Today I realized how much meaning this program has for everyone performing. This is such a dose of development that you cannot get it in everyday life – noted Justyna Steczkowska.
Part doll, part pin-up girl
One of the most popular American singers, Katy Perry. And in this role… Barbara Wypych! The staging of “Teenage Dream” contained many elements that could have been difficult for the participant. – I thought: a simple song. But no, it’s not easy – said the star during rehearsals. – I can publicly admit that this is the most difficult thing I do professionally here – she continued. Were these worries actually true? – You can see that it wasn’t easy, you could feel it at the beginning, but you got going. It’s a bit like in this program – commented Stefano Terrazzino. – I think you’ve made a lot of progress. You look beautiful, Małgorzata Walewska noted. – We all said: the beginning is uncertain. But you haven’t lost your enthusiasm, Piotr Gąsowski pointed out.
Voting and results
The jurors awarded their points and decided that Kuba Szyperski was the best. The participants were of the same opinion. He donated a check worth PLN 10,000 to the Our Children Foundation at the clinic at the Children’s Health Center.
